Jurassic Park Author's Passion Project Is Finally Available

Michael Crichton passed away in 2008, but the prolific author’s writing career has continued on with a batch of posthumously published books–and today, his latest novel, Eruption, is finally available to buy. Eruption is a thriller novel set just before “a history-making eruption is about to destroy the Big Island of Hawaii. But a secret held for decades by the US military is far more terrifying than any volcano.” Sounds like a classic Crichton story premise to us. Best of all, you can grab the hardcover edition of Eruption at a special launch discount online. It’s available at Amazon and Target for just $19.20 (normally $32.49). Unsurprisingly, it’s the No. 1 best-selling book on launch day at Amazon (June 3). Come from

Why Another Stalker 2 Delay Was Never An Option For Its Ukrainian Developer

Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl–the long-awaited sequel to developer GSC Game World’s 2007 classic–was delayed several times during development, with an initial announcement in 2010 and a launch date planned for 2012. 14 years after its announcement, the sequel is finally here, and although the game has sold well, its condition at launch wasn’t exactly perfect.
