PSG set Mbappe ultimatum
Paris Saint-Germain have vowed once again that they won t lose the services of Kylian Mbappe on a free transfer next year. The France forward will either sign a new contract with the Ligue 1 giants, or leave now for a transfer fee.
Though other clubs have been mentioned in that aspect, Mbappe has mostly been linked with Real Madrid. Though his price might be significantly reduced for PSG to ensure his departure this summer, his wages appear to be the problem for most potential suitors. The 24-year-old is, after all, one of the best players in the world at the moment.

Xhaka s contribution to Arsenal wasn t always of the same level, and controversies tend to follow his footsteps wherever he goes due to his largely confrontational pattern of behaviour, but in 2022/23, he was of great worth to manager Mikel Arteta and executed his tactical ideas on the pitch to perfection. The Gunners eventually lost the Premier League title race to Manchester City, but the challenge they mounted probably wouldn t have been possible without Xhaka in the middle of the park.
Zaha close to Lazio move?
The contract of Wilfried Zaha at Crystal Palace has expired, and despite an offer of a new one being on his table, he his reportedly considering his options.
Those options include Fenerbahce and Al-Nassr, but also Lazio, and the 30-year-old winger is believed to favour a move to the Italian capital for the time being.
Zaha joined Palace from Manchester United on an initial loan in 2014, which was made permanent a year later for no more than £3.5 million. Since then, he s made a total of 458 appearances for the club, scoring 90 goals and laying on 76.
Chelsea not open to Colwill offers
Chelsea reportedly insist they are not and will not be interested in selling Levi Colwill this summer, despite continued interest in the services of the 20-year-old defender.
Colwill s current contract runs until 2024, with an option to be extended by a further year should certain conditions be met. His fine performances on loan with Brighton last season have obviously attracted a lot of attention, together with his exploits with England at the ongoing UEFA Euro Under-21 tournament.
Atletico Madrid confirm Azpilicueta signing
Atletico Madrid have confirmed the signing of Cesar Azpilicueta, following a mutual agreement to have his contract with Chelsea terminated.
Azpilicueta has put pen to paper on a one-year contract with the Rojiblancos and will return to his home country.
The 33-year-old defender remains a legend of the Blues, having spent 11 very successful seasons at Stamford Bridge, but his time there has now come to an end. He recently posted an in which he said farewell to the Chelsea supporters.
